The quickest way to delete your account is in CalmWalk under Settings → Delete account. If you no longer have the app, you can send a deletion request from this page.
Delete your account in the app
- Open CalmWalk and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account, review the warning, and confirm.
The authenticated deletion flow removes the account and synced data, signs you out, and clears CalmWalk’s local profile, dog, log, custom-trigger, preference, and sync-queue data from that device.
Request deletion without the app
Send the request from the email address associated with your CalmWalk account when possible. Include the email address and sign-in method used for the account. Do not send your password, an authentication code, payment details, or private walk notes. We will verify that the account belongs to you before completing the request.
Data that is deleted
Deletion removes your CalmWalk authentication account and associated synced profile, preferences, subscription entitlement, dog profiles, private dog photos, walk logs, and custom triggers. Routine provider backup copies may remain isolated until they expire through the provider’s backup rotation. Narrowly limited records may be retained only when required for security, fraud prevention, transaction accounting, dispute resolution, or law, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Timing
In-app deletion begins immediately after confirmation. A manually submitted request is completed after identity verification and normally within 30 days. We will contact you if applicable law permits or requires more time.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel active billing separately in your Apple Account or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling a subscription does not delete your CalmWalk account.
